 Senior Design Project – Fracture Fixation Device – PATENT PENDING                                   January-June 2010

  • Created a novel fracture fixation device. Wright State University has filed invention disclosure and is financially pursuing a patent. This device was designed with considerations for biomechanical stresses, materials FDA approved for human use, and consulted with Sambhu Choudhury M.D. from Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center to address ease of surgical application. Created model for device in SolidWorks CAD. Prototype will be manufactured by Noble Tool Corp., Dayton, Ohio.

Bariatric Patient Lift Device                                                                                                                                                Fall 2009
Designed patient lift device. This device will help address the problem of injuries to healthcare workers through lifting patients. The intent is to reduce the number of worker’s compensation filings due to injuries related to caring for overweight patients.

  • Manage, secure, and support all network switches including over 30 workstations and 10 servers.
  • Support File server, Backup server, Microsoft Exchange Email server, Active Directory, DNS, and Fax server.
  • Implementation of new workstations.
  • Hardware and/or software upgrades for current workstations.
  • Perform printer support and maintenance.
